2 kW on a sunny day? We store it all.
Many home batteries charge slowly – often only 800W – meaning you feed a large portion of your solar power back into the grid.
The Lunergy Hub 2400 AC does things differently: with up to 2400W input, it catches everything, even when you're not at home during the day.
Every watt generated counts.
Use high-powered devices at night
Appliances such as dishwashers or air conditioners often consume more than 1 to 2 kW of power in the evening.
Standard 800W batteries cannot handle this, meaning you still have to use power from the grid.
The Lunergy X2400 AC supports Pro Mode with an output of up to 2.4 kW — more than enough to handle heavy evening loads with ease.
Smart AI-powered charging and discharging based on dynamic tariffs
In winter, or whenever your solar energy falls short, the AI automatically adjusts to electricity prices — charging during the cheapest hours and discharging during peak rates. This way, you enjoy the lowest electricity costs all day long.
Compatible With HomeWizard and More...
In addition to Lunergy’s own P1 meter, it also works seamlessly with HomeWizard P1, Shelly, Tibber, and other leading brands. Moreover, we maintain an open ecosystem and support integration with Home Assistant, and also support Modbus for direct local control without the need for an internet connection.
Start small. Expand whenever you want.
Many batteries that require installation are too large or too expensive — often they are barely used in summer and fall short in winter.
For an average household, 2 to 4 kWh is sufficient to cover all power needs at night.
The Lunergy X2400 AC stores up to 7.68 kWh and lets you easily stack additional units or expand later cost-effectively — whenever it suits you.

"When I first saw the extra cost for feeding electricity back to the grid, I knew I needed to use more of my own solar power. But I didn’t want anything complicated.
With the Lunergy battery, I store solar energy during the day and use it in the evening — simple and cost-effective. The Lunergy Hub 2400 AC also supports up to 2400 W off-grid output, so I still have power when the grid is down."

“A friend helped me set up three dedicated circuits in my garage, each connected to a separate phase of my three-phase house. This way, I can simply plug my Lunergy into each socket and feed back 2400 W per phase, giving a total of 7200 W and 15 kWh. This essentially allows me to use no electricity from the grid at night.”

Installation & Use
What do I need to make the Lunergy Hub 2400 AC work?
You'll need an electrical outlet and some space for the battery. You'll also need the following:
- A WiFi connection
- A smartphone (iOS or Android)
- Solar panels and inverters
- A smart meter
- A Lunergy P1 meter
Can I really install it myself — without tools or technical knowledge?
Yes! You just need to plug the battery into a wall socket and connect the P1 meter to your smart meter. Installation is easily completed via the Lunergy app—no tools required.
However, if you want to discharge above 800W, we recommend consulting a professional, as this requires a connection to a dedicated circuit.
Where should I place the battery?
The Lunergy Hub 2400 AC has an IP65 rating, meaning it is well protected against dust and water — suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Common locations include meter cupboards, garages, basements, or gardens. However, avoid direct sunlight.
For optimal performance and longevity, we recommend indoor installation.
Is there anything I should be aware of regarding the battery?
The Lunergy Hub 2400 AC has built-in cooling fans. Make sure to leave at least 15cm of space on both sides and the top for proper air circulation.
How do I expand the battery capacity?
Want to expand your capacity? Simply stack it with the BP5200 expansion battery for an additional 5.22 kWh — no tools or extra wiring required.
Does the Lunergy Hub 2400 AC work with my existing solar panels and inverter?
Absolutely. The Lunergy Hub 2400 AC works with any brand and any installation.
During the day, the P1 meter detects whether solar power is being fed back into the grid — and the battery responds immediately by storing exactly that surplus.
In the evening, as soon as your home consumes power, the battery supplies exactly what's needed in real time. This way, you avoid drawing power from the grid and work towards complete energy independence.
What is the ideal operating temperature?
The battery operates safely between -10°C and 50°C, but for optimal efficiency and lifespan we recommend using it within a range of 0°C to 40°C.
Product
How does the Hub 2400 AC help save me money?
The Lunergy Hub 2400 AC supports mains charging and is designed to achieve maximum savings in two key home situations:
Solar energy optimization – Excess solar energy generated during the day is stored for use in the evening. This reduces your reliance on grid power.
Dynamic energy rates – The battery charges during off-peak hours with low rates and supplies energy during peak hours when electricity is expensive. This helps you avoid high electricity costs and increase your own energy consumption.
How long does it take to recoup the cost of the battery?
That depends on your electricity rate and how much solar energy you generate.
From 1 January 2027, the net metering scheme will end, and feed-in tariffs are expected to be lower than €0.01/kWh — or even negative.
Based on average household consumption and an electricity rate of €0.35/kWh, the payback period is estimated at approximately 3 to 4 years.
With a lifespan of up to 15 years, that means more than a decade of savings — making this one of the most profitable investments available today

Can I still use the Lunergy Hub 2400 AC during a power outage?
Yes, absolutely.
The Lunergy Hub 2400 AC acts as an emergency power supply during power outages. The off-grid connection provides up to 4800W peak power (10 seconds) and 2400W continuous power , enough to power essential appliances such as refrigerators, garage doors, coffee machines and microwaves.
In addition, the system works as a UPS (no-break) and automatically switches to battery power in less than 10 milliseconds to protect sensitive devices.
For safety during grid maintenance, the grid-connected port automatically switches off to prevent back-feeding — but the off-grid connection remains active for emergency use.
What if I live in a home with three-phase electricity?
No problem.
Your smart meter registers the total net consumption across all three phases.
So if you consume 3000 W on one phase and supply 3000 W back on another phase, the meter will register zero net consumption — no extra costs will be charged.
I don't have a P1-compatible smart meter — can I still use it?
Yes, you can.
We support the Shelly CT meter, which allows homes without a P1 port to use the battery safely and accurately.
Is there a fire hazard if I place the battery indoors?
Not at all.
The Lunergy Hub 2400 AC uses LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) — the safest battery technology available.
In addition, the battery has a fire-resistant metal casing and multiple security layers, including:
- Overcharge protection
- Overcurrent protection
- Short circuit protection
- Overtemperature protection
All sensors are rigorously tested to ensure that in the event of any deviation, the system automatically and safely shuts down the affected components
What are the dimensions of the batteries with different capacities?
Our batteries have a stackable design. The inverter has a height of 15.6 cm, and each battery module is 22.4 cm high. The length and width always remain the same: 53 cm × 36 cm. The total height varies depending on capacity:
- 5.22 kWh – 38 cm high
- 10.44 kWh – 60.4 cm high
- 15.66 kWh – 82.8 cm high
The most space-saving plug-in home battery in the industry.
